Blue Zircon

About your companion

Our blue zircons, mostly found in Cambodia, fascinate with their naturally pastel-blue coloration, reminiscent of the blue of the Tibetan poppy. Zircon is attributed properties such as wisdom, prosperity, and balance. Over billions of years these zircon crystals formed in pegmatitic rocks as zirconium, silicon, and oxygen came together. The oldest specimens date back up to 4.4 billion years and are considered the oldest minerals on Earth; they are more resistant to chemical decay than diamonds and are used in science to date the early history of the Earth, providing insights into the formation of our planet.
