Tahitian pearl
Born in the lagoons of the South Pacific, where one of the slowest-growing oysters in the world produces one of the rarest natural treasures — the Tahiti pearl. It takes up to 5 years for the black oyster, Pinctada margaritifera, to form the final millimeter of the unique black-gray nacre (pearl layer). During this time the oyster continuously filters the seawater of our ocean — each Tahiti pearl cleans up to 4 million L of seawater. By doing so you actively help purify as much water as the annual household consumption of 80 people. Thank you for making it possible for us to make our oceans a little cleaner <3
